Executive Blog
The most common question I usually get in heading up NABS is – ‘I guess you’re a lot busier these days?’ The short answer is yes – 2009 was our busiest ever in terms of helping industry friends and their families – through our confidential counselling and short-term financial assistance programs.

Post Event Recap
The 26th Annual NABS Fundraising Gala
On Tuesday May 11th at the Kool Haus in Toronto, 450 of the
communications industry's most influential senior executives
gathered to experience the "Mad Ad World" of advertising at the
26th Annual Fundraising Gala. Guests enjoyed 1960s themed canapés
and a three course menu prepared by Eatertainment special events
and catering, bid on fabulous auction items, and then kicked back
for a laugh at the wild and crazy world of advertising. Improv
"players," made up of sponsor representatives and members of the
audience, braved the stage alongside professionals from the Bad Dog
Theatre Company. Together they performed comedy sketches set in the
advertising world, exposing all its quarks and
idiosyncrasies.
NABS would like to thank everyone who made this annual event a
success.
