NABS Facebook Page
Guidelines
- This Facebook page (Page) is a way for NABS and others to share
information, promote events and create a community for people in
the advertising, media and communications industries who support
the National Advertising Benevolent Society of Canada (NABS).
- For questions about the Page, call NABS at 1.800.661.NABS
(6227).
- The Page is monitored by representatives of NABS designated by
NABS (Officers).
Terms
- Any use of the Page constitutes acceptance of Facebook's:
- Terms of Use, found at http://www.facebook.com/terms.php;
and
- Privacy Policy, found at http://www.facebook.com/policy.php
(Facebook Terms).
- With respect to the legal relationship between NABS and users
of the Page (Members), NABS has all the rights of Facebook and
Members owe NABS all the obligations to Facebook as set forth in
the Facebook Terms. Without limitation:
- NABS reserves the right to change the terms of use of the Page
or to modify or terminate the Page at any time without cause,
notice or liability; and
- NABS shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by a
Member arising from their use of the Page.
- Any request to add, change or remove any content (inappropriate
or otherwise) posted to the Page must be made in writing to an
Officer. The Officer, in consultation with NABS, will respond
promptly to the request.
- Participation by an individual in any NABS event constitutes
consent to post to the Page any photos and/or video of that
individual taken at that event. This consent may be revoked by the
individual in question by giving notice in writing to an Officer.
Following receipt of the written revocation, the Officer will
promptly remove the photo and/or video from the Page.
- Notwithstanding any provision in the Facebook Terms, any
dispute between Members or between Members and NABS shall be
governed by the laws of Ontario and the parties irrevocably attorn
to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario sitting in
Toronto.
NABS Ambassadors Facebook Page
Guidelines
- This Facebook page (Page) is a way for NABS Ambassadors and
others to share information, promote events and create a community
for people in the communications industry who support the National
Advertising Benevolent Society of Canada (NABS).

- The Page is monitored by representatives of NABS Ambassadors
designated by NABS (Officers).

Twitter Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes Twitter's policies and procedures
on the collection, use and disclosure of your information. Twitter
will receive your information through their various websites, SMS,
APIs, services and third-parties (Services). When using any of the
Services you consent to the collection, transfer, manipulation,
storage, disclosure and other uses of your information as described

LinkedIn Privacy Policy Highlights
- Personal information collected
LinkedIn collects information:
- When you register an account to become a LinkedIn user (User),
such as your name, e-mail, country, location, occupation and a
password.
- When you add to your profile with further information about
yourself or your private contacts
- LinkedIn uses cookies and other technologies to recognize you,
customize your experience and serve advertisements.
- LinkedIn automatically receives from your internet use such
information as your IP address, the URLs of sites from which you
arrive or leave the LinkedIn website, your type of browser and your
ISP.
- Uses of personal information
LinkedIn uses the information you provide to:
- Administer your account with LinkedIn and customize the service
LinkedIn provides to you.
- To send you service or promotional communications through
e-mail and notices on the LinkedIn website.
- LinkedIn does not sell, rent or otherwise provide your personal
identifiable information to any third parties for marketing
purposes.
- LinkedIn provides you with the means to control whether or not
your contact information is shared with another User.
- In order to deliver their services, LinkedIn may share
information with third parties. For example, to process
subscription payments made by you, we share some of your
information with the credit card processing company we use.
- Enable you to share your information and communicate with other
Users, or provide (usually at your option) your personal details to
third parties offering combined services with LinkedIn.
- Your information choices
You can:
- Review, enhance or edit your personal information through your
personal profile page.
- Choose what information you make available through your public
profile.
- Control the messages you receive from LinkedIn and other Users
and how these messages are sent.
- Change your settings to control visibility and accessibility

- Tell LinkedIn to close your LinkedIn account.
- Important information
- LinkedIn is a licensee of TRUSTe, an organization established
to promote fair information practices. LinkedIn has agreed to
disclose their privacy practices and have them reviewed by TRUSTe.
