Honour Roll
In 2005 the NABS Board of Directors commissioned a group of current and past volunteer Board Members to create a recognition program to properly thank the people who have helped NABS grow and become the organization it is today. The ‘NABS HONOUR ROLL’ was created to recognize the individuals and organizations who have contributed exceptional support in the formation and development of NABS, both nationally and regionally.
A selection committee was formed, headed by Mr. Robert White, Senior VP of The Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC). The committee consists of previous and current NABS Board Chairs from both NABS Canada and the Vancouver-based chapter, NABS WEST.
“There is no doubt that the growth of NABS is due to the hard work and dedication of many individuals and organizations, it is essential to recognize outstanding contribution now and in the future as it exemplifies the vision that NABS truly belongs to all of us,”
Mr. Robert White
“Getting ideas like NABS is the easy part. Turning the ideas into reality is the hard part. And in NABS’ early going there was some really tough sledding, believe me. I would like to dedicate this award to all those others who shared the vision, and toiled away at the NABS coal face of fundraising, allocations, ad auction, event management, and education. Their hard work has made NABS a reality and they deserve the recognition,”
Mr. Rupert Brendon
Criteria:

- A minimum of one specific contribution on the Board, committee or program level
- Corporate Partnership – a long-term partnership approach to promoting and supporting NABS
- There will be no fixed number of inductees per year.
