The National Advertising Benevolent Society is the only full-time charitable group in Canada set up exclusively to provide assistance to advertising industry professionals who may need help due to illness, injury, unemployment or financial difficulties. NABS services include a national toll-free counseling ‘HELPLINE’ (1-888-355-5548) and financial assistance, as well as personal and career counseling.
Founded in 1983, NABS has contributed more than $7 million in direct support to industry professionals and their families. NABS raises 100% of its funding from the advertising and media industries and has offices in Toronto, Vancouver and Quebec.
