FRIENDS OF NABS

Friends of NABSThe ‘FRIENDS OF NABS’ Donor Recognition Program is just one of the ways NABS recognizes the financial support of professionals in all sectors of the communication industry. Your cash donation allows NABS to provide financial assistance, personal, career and financial counseling, to our colleagues and their families in the industry when they need it most. ‘FRIENDS OF NABS’ is a national fundraising initiatives established in 2006 with two objectives:

  1. Broaden awareness of NABS services to assist more colleagues in need
  2. Generate incremental funds to support the increased demand for our services

WHO?

Anyone can become a ‘Friend of NABS’ with a donation as little as $20.00. All donations $20.00 and over will be provided with a tax receipt for 100% of the donation.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?

  • To thank you for your support – you will be recognized annually in a variety of NABS communication programs
  • Identified as one of the ‘FRIENDS OF NABS’ in trade advertising and media release
  • A tax receipt for 100% of your donation
  • Recognized on NABS website section featuring the ‘FRIENDS’
  • The option to identify your organization in your own promotional materials as one of the ‘FRIENDS OF NABS’

How to make a Donation to NABS

  1. CHEQUE – We accept donations for 2009 until January 15, 2010 – as long as cheques are dated no later than December 31, 2009 to receive a tax receipt for the 2009 year.
    Please make your cheque payable to ‘NABS Canada’.
    • To receive a PERSONAL tax receipt, please make your donation by ‘PERSONAL CHEQUE’.
    • To receive a CORPORATE tax receipt – please make your donation by ‘CORPORATE CHEQUE’.
  2. CREDIT CARD – You can make a direct donation to NABS with a credit card – click here – it’s secure and will only take you a few minutes. Deadline for 2009 online donations is December 18, 2009
  3. UNITED WAY – you can donate directly to NABS through United Way. On the back of the pledge form – in the section marked ‘Other organizations’ – print ‘NABS Canada’ and our charitable number – 11905-1357-RR.
