WHY?
CHALLENGES FACING THE INDUSTRY
- Our industry faces numerous challenges in recruiting, motivating, supporting and retaining our primary asset – our staff
- From a business perspective – there is more focus on bottom-line results
- Management faces issues around high turnover, high stress, limited benefits and severance and a focus on ‘hiring younger’
*NABS understands these unique personal challenges and has ‘CAREER RESOURCES’ to assist industry professionals through work and personal issues
THE CURRENT CHALLENGE FACING NABS
- Financial commitments for NABS services has set a record in 2005 – nearly a 40% increase. This is the fifth year in a row of increased demand and trends indicate that this demand will continue in 2006
- Demand is now exceeding NABS’ ability to provide funding due to limitations in fundraising growth in recent years
- Low awareness across a number of age groups and industry sectors and specifically for those who are under 30 years of age
- Misperceptions at the senior level about the wide-range of services that NABS provides
WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?
- To thank you for your support – you will be recognized annually in a variety of NABS communication programs
- Identified as one of the founding ‘FRIENDS OF NABS’ in trade advertising and media release
- A tax receipt for 100% of your donation
