What is an Ambassador?
A young industry professional who represents NABS in their company. Ambassadors are volunteers who see the importance of the work NABS does in the industry and wants to help by being apart of it. They are the representative of NABS in their company who tells colleagues and peers about upcoming Ambassador events for young professionals, important information, and ways they can help.
What are the benefits of being an Ambassador?
Ambassadors have great connections. They are the link within companies, between companies, and within the industry. It is a great networking opportunity to meet other industry professionals in social and work environments, to interact with senior level professionals in ones own company as well as interaction with senior level executives at other companies.
The Ambassadors Network is a great way to meet a cross section of people in all aspects of the industry and work together to support the Industry charity.
The Ambassadors Committee is also a resource that the network can use. A team of 10-12 well connected, creative, bright people who are volunteering their time to ensure the success and fun of the Ambassadors Network.
Many of the top companies support NABS and as a younger member of the industry it is important to make an impression, show you care, and get involved. The Ambassador network is a great way to do all three. It also never hurts to help out an organization that you, a loved one, or a friend may need one day.
If you are interested in becoming a NABS Ambassador in your company, would like to recommend someone else for the role or just want more information please contact ambassadors@nabs.org.
